A Journey from India to Belfast: My Travel                              Story (2024-2025)

1. The Beginning: Why I Love to Travel

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been fascinated by the idea of exploring new places. There’s something magical about stepping into a new world, meeting people from different cultures, and seeing nature in all its glory. In 2024, I decided to take my passion for travel to the next level by exploring some of India’s most incredible destinations. Little did I know, these experiences would prepare me for an even bigger adventure—moving to Belfast, Northern Ireland, to pursue my MSc in Marketing. This blog is my way of sharing that journey with you.

2. Exploring India: Memories That Shaped Me

• (The new year started with an adventure in the Garhwal Himalayas)Tungnath, Uttarakhand –     A Spiritual Trek

Tungnath isn’t just a place; it’s an experience. At 3,680 meters, it’s the highest Shiva temple in the world, nestled in the Himalayas. The trek was challenging—snow-covered trails, freezing temperatures, and thin air—but the views were worth every step. Watching the sunrise over the mountains, with the temple’s spiritual energy surrounding me, was something I’ll never forget.

• February 2024 Goa – Where the Ocean Meets the Soul

Goa is everything you’ve heard and more. Golden beaches, vibrant nightlife, and a mix of Indian and Portuguese cultures. I spent my days trying water sports, exploring old churches, and indulging in fresh seafood. But my favorite part? Walking along the beach at sunset, feeling the ocean breeze and the peace that comes with it.

• (April) Kanchi Dam, Nainital – A Hidden Paradise

Summer brought a peaceful retreat to Kanchi Dam in Uttarakhand,If you ever want to escape the chaos of life, Kanchi Dam is the place to go. It’s a quiet, serene spot near Nainital, surrounded by lush green hills and crystal-clear water. I spent hours just sitting by the lake, taking photos, and enjoying the calm. It’s one of those places that reminds you how beautiful simplicity can be.

• (October) Manali – A Winter Dream

Manali is pure magic, especially in winter. Snow-covered peaks, cozy cafes, and thrilling adventures like skiing in Solang Valley made it unforgettable. One of my favorite memories? Sitting by a window with a cup of hot chai, watching the snow fall outside. It was peaceful, beautiful, and everything I needed at that moment.

• (December) Rashtrapati Bhavan, Delhi – The Heart of India’s Democracy

The official residence of the President of India, a symbol of Indian democracy and history.I took a guided tour, exploring its grand architecture, Mughal Gardens, and historic halls.Standing in front of this iconic building was a proud moment as an Indian traveler.

3. Moving to Belfast: A New Adventure

Leaving India was bittersweet. I was excited for what lay ahead, but saying goodbye to the warmth of home wasn’t easy. Belfast, though, has been a pleasant surprise. The city is a mix of stunning architecture, friendly people, and a rich history that I’m still discovering.

The weather? Definitely colder than I’m used to, but I’m learning to embrace it. The food? Different, but I’ve already found a few spots that remind me of home. And the academic life? Challenging, but in the best way possible.

I’ve already started planning trips around Northern Ireland—Giant’s Causeway and the Dark Hedges are next on my list. Belfast feels like a new chapter, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me.

4. Sharing My Journey: Blogging and Social Media

To document my travels, I started a blog and began sharing my experiences on social media. It’s been a fun way to connect with people who share the same love for travel.

what I’ve done:

- Writing blog posts that tell stories, not just facts.

- Creating Instagram reels and Twitter threads to share highlights.

5. The End… Or Just the Beginning?

Traveling through India and moving to Belfast has been a journey of growth, discovery, and unforgettable memories. Every place I’ve visited has taught me something new, and I hope my blog inspires others to explore the world too.

This is just the start of my adventures, and I can’t wait to see where life takes me next.
